I want to connect with my friend from the neighboring building over 500 meters; Will a wireless connection be suitable for such a connection? If not so how else can I connect with Him? We would like to share some games, movies  but I’m not interested in a cable and how fast can the alternative be and what cost?

Hello Sarah I Jimenez,    I am really sorry to say that you can't connect two computers in range of 500 meter without wires. Because a Wi-Fi does not offer range of 500 meter. Even its range is not of 300 meter as it is just for household. So if you want to share data on this distance then you have to use wire  RS-422  or   RS-485.
