How can a PCI – e graphics card on a Linux system be connected to a virtualbox or KVM? Is a light weight linux virtual Box image preconfigured with LAMP available on net?

Hi,

KVM has auto detector of pc hardware configuration. So you can easily install PCI – e graphics card on a Linux system. When you install KVM it will auto detect PCI – e graphics card in your system. And when you install OS in virtual machine it will install driver module in OS for PCI – e graphics card on a Linux system.

Other option is to do it manually. You can download a virtual box like sun virtual box Linux version that has built in PCI support. Or you can install an extra module to support PCI – e graphics card on a Linux system.
