But it throws me an error message ‘invalid setting’ and it could not start Hotspot. Why I am getting error? I checked the WiFi settings, it is on and enabled. Please help me fix the error. Thanks.

You receive that error because the Wi-Fi button or the Wi-Fi radio button is not activated. You should see this button on the upper left corner of your keyboard. By default, this button is turned on so the laptop can easily detect any nearby Wi-Fi network. This is the button on your keyboard with the Wi-Fi symbol on it.

Wi-Fi button

If Wi-Fi is on or activated, the LED indicator on this button is on. But if Wi-Fi is off or deactivated, the LED indicator on this button is also off. If you receive this error when you try to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi that means the Wi-Fi connectivity on your laptop is off. Just press on the button to turn on Wi-Fi on your computer.
