I am using windows 7 Home Basic, and, for viewing movies online, I use Adobe Flash Player, but when Adobe Flash Player required an upgrade, I clicked on the download button and suddenly, the window of Flash Player upgrade got closed without any message. My PC was connected to the Internet at the time of clicking the download button. Please tell me the reason behind this issue?

This is actually not a problem. This problem also happens to me sometimes and the culprit is always the internet connection. When Adobe Flash Player prompts you to install an update or to install the latest version, when you continue, it will download the update and automatically installs it to update the old version.

But during the download, when your download gets too long because of a very slow connection or there is an interruption in the connection, the download will immediately halt but will not close the interface. In your case, I guess the Flash Player download progress interface encountered a problem and causes it to exit.

Even if this happens, you can still download the update from the Adobe website. To download the latest Adobe Flash Player, visit Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.189. Once downloaded, double-click on the file to begin the update. Once Adobe Flash Player is updated, you should no longer have any issues when streaming videos on your web browser that requires Adobe Flash Player.
