Connect Printer To Wireless Router For More Than One Computer
Yeah! You are right. One cannot have an individual printer for each device at home that supports printing. Read the methods below to know about the ways to share your printer.
1. Integrated Ethernet/ Wi-Fi Printer:
If the printer has an Ethernet port, plug it into the router and install the compatibility drivers to each device at your home. You can also set up the Wireless connection if you really have a strong signal connection.
2. Standalone Print Server:
These are less expensive and allow you to use the printer’s USB connection. Just connect your computer to the printer, and then plug an Ethernet cable into your router and the Print Server. These can support multiple Operating Systems as well.
3. Integrated Print Server on Network Routers:
Check your modem if it has a USB Port. If it is available, just plug in your printer and share it through the router.
