In my work place we use an exchange server for outlook. Currently I am on leave and I am looking for a way to configure my work Outlook account with my IPhone such that I can use Outlook email with the calendar and tasks features and also my yahoo account. I have searched for a solution online but all the results I found don’t seem to help. Can you please tell me if this is possible and if possible how is it done?

Hi Ronald Simpson,

    Yes it is possible to configure your Outlook on your iphone.  How to do it?

Follow the following instructions below:

  • from your iPhone's home screen look for the setting icon and then select the icon mail, calendars, contacts and choose  add account.
  • hit the other icon to let the keyboard activate.  In the blank fields, type the your email address and password then hit next.
  • there will be confirmation mesage telling you that the email address was configure.and hit OK.
  • Then Close the wizard.

Hi there user:

No worries, this is quite easy.

Aside from iPhone, this will also work if you’re using iPad and iPod Touch.

Tap Settings on your iPhone. Then tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar, etc. On the Account Page, add or create an Account and then select Hotmail.

You can now enter your Outlook Address and Password. Select page you would like to sync. Then hit the save button when you’re done.

Now you have your Outlook on your iPhone.
