I want to have the best computer, that's why i want to ask what are the main types of computers in use today and what are their features and please tell me their proper usage.
Well the latest types of computers that are in use are:
1) Pocket (palmtop) Computer- This type of computers or common name pocket computers comes very handy when you are travelling out a lot. For business people this comes pretty handy. It is small, easy to carry, has small and light batteries that last long and the most interesting fact is that it has special operating system that is more suitable for pocket computers. Easy handling makes it more efficient and reliable.
One problem is that it doesn’t have a full sized keyboard and rather it has touch pen that some times can feel reality irritating.
2) Laptop Computer- Well this is a more professional type, a laptop user can use all types of software as in desktop computers. Also it has DVD ROM, webcam and almost all the facilities a desktop computer has. It is portable but it is very costly and also the batteries don’t last longer.
3) Micro (desktop) Computer: Currently there are two types of PC available. Mac or Macintosh. This PC is very is very popular for using the latest operating system OS X. Normally people look for IBM compatible computers with Intel microprocessor.
