Hi,

I think you pin-point the problem, right on the target as I may say. Computer cooling fan is one of the cause, it may be too dirty inside that the fan won't rotate or spin. Cleaning is the best solution to this using computer cleaning materials like, clothes, brush, alcohol, screw driver for opening and or replace the fan itself.

Computer cooling fan is one of the cause

There are numbers of problem why computer keeps rebooting, Fan is number 1, hard drive failure, Video Card failure and BIOS failure.

Video Card failure and BIOS failure.

In this case, you just need to go 1 step at a time. Keep track of the steps you've made. Fix cooling fan first then continue to the next procedure by identifying the problem.

Keep in track!

The kind of problem is usually associated with hardware issue. Faulty power supply is usually the cause of this problem. Dirty or defected cooling fan is another reason why computer is rebooting spontaneously.

When your computer is trying to cool itself when the fan is defective it automatically switches off. Dust that accumulated in your computer can trap the heat inside which makes it hotter. What should do is to clean the fan and make sure that is running properly.

Rebooting problem is associated with both hardware and software issues. You first have to check out what is the reason for this type of rebooting. If you are using any high profile software then make sure that this software is not the cause of this type of rebooting.

Some software's cause rebooting. Even sometimes installing or updating software's cause this type of problem. If you are sure that this problem is not associated with software issues then it must be a hardware problem. This could be faulty hardware. Make sure that your all hardware's are doing great. Hope that this might help you. Thank you very much.

Good day,

Regarding to the problem about computer restarting again and again.

This is very easy to fix,

First thing that we have to do is to find what is wrong with the computer.

To do this:

1. Fist we test if last good known configuration will help to solve the problem. To do this press f8 continuously upon booting then select the option last good known configuration the hit enter.

If still the computer restart,

2. Try to do system restore then check if this will solve the problem. If system restore cant help the problem we have to re install our Operating System. But This is our last Option.

Before reinstalling the OS first,

3. We will check the memory (RAM) clean the dirt in memory modules then put it back and boot again. If same problem occurs try to put the ram in other memory slot the boot again, If the computer have more than 1 RAM try each memory. If your friend have extra RAM try to borrow it to test in your computer.

(We will be needing a screw driver for this because we will open the computer case in order to this procedure.)

If this procedure failed try the next solution,

4. Remove any add-on cards like modem / sound card / video card etc.

Test the computer if it resolve the problem.

(We will be needing a screw driver for this because we will open the computer case in order to this procedure.)

If Not,

4. Remove mouse and keyboard or anything in the USB port that are attached in the computer and boot the computer see if the problem is solve.

If not,

5. We will check the bios see if the computer is overheating. Restore the bios setting to default and save it. Then try booting the computer again if this not work we will reformat the computer.
