My computer prompted me to install available updates on windows 7. I postpone the updates for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes my pc started to install the update automatically.

When all updates were installed my pc restarted. Since then I am getting a no disk error found error message. Is there something wrong with my hard disk or update installation?

There are several steps you should follow. They are given below:

a. If the disk error message given, then the windows kernel and boot. In crashed during the updating process.

b. The disk error message also indicated the bad sector problem.

c. You have to install new windows in your laptop if the windows crashed.

d. For bad sector problem you have to format the total hard drive in low level format. If the bad sector take too much space than it better to replace the hard drive. From my experience the manufactures don’t guaranty about bad sector. It is best to buy a new one.
