I am running Windows 7, and I have successfully downloaded and installed the Quick Media Converter.

When I tried to start using it, I got error message stated below:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher

It was running well with my Windows Vista PC.

How can I fix this?

Please help me in this problem!

Hi,

Certain software that are compatible with windows Vista need not be compatible with Windows 7 OS. In such cases you can make use of the Program compatibility mode in Windows 7. To enable the feature follow:

1. Click “Start” and open “Control Panel”.
2. Open “Program”, and select “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.” in the left panel and follow the instructions.

If it doesn’t work, please confirm whether you are using 64 bit or a 32 bit version of Windows 7 and download and install the latest version of QMC on the computer. If you are using QMC version that is compatible with Windows 7, and still receiving the error, please scan the computer for any virus and try loading it again after restarting the computer.
