My name is Donald; a 12 year old boy. I would wish to know the differences between Pentium Processing Devices and Celeron Processing Devices. What are some of the significant physical features they share in common? I would also like to know why the name Pentium and Celeron with respect to the different brands since they are all produce or made by Intel. Thank you.

The Comparison between Pentium Processing Devices and Celeron Processing Devices

Celeron and Pentium are two different computer chip produced by Intel.

The chip process all the calculations associated with computing. Pentium processor ranges from Pentium – Pentium 4 with each more powerful than the previous. There are no version number of Celeron processors and they were produced later than the Pentium processors.

The Celeron processor is less powerful than the Pentium processor. The fastest Celeron chip operates at a clock speed of 2.8 GHz whereas the fastest Pentium 4 operates at 3.8 GHz meaning that Pentium processors process information faster than Celeron processors.
