Comparision between Android and Windows for mobile in terms of Applications
Android and Windows both provide almost similar functionalities. But, differences are also exists. The Android OS supports wide variety of handsets at some specific price ranges. There are many apps available in android like Google play, and also you can buy variety of movies and music from different sources. Android allows to do text from a PC, Easy Infrared remote control and unlimited storage in microSD card. In windows operating system mobiles, wireless charging is very convenient to use and it supports integrated FM. When you compare both platforms, windows operating systems provides higher battery life and less power consumption.

I used both phone Android and Window.
So here is my thoughts about both of them.
If you want good quality Apps and good games, then you should prefer Android. Android has quality apps and by single search you will find high quality of apps.
Just Window store contains small amount of apps and game. New version of Window 8.1 and set off some drawbacks like head video cannot be played in Windows 8. And the big draw back i face you will not find SD Card Storage apps in window apps so you can not see all the folders present in your phone memory and SD card.
