Hello Pro,

I am facing a serious issue in the work environment. Suddenly my office communicator is not working to the core; I get an error message ‘communicator could not determine the location of your Exchange Web Services’. After a while, I tried to retrieve it again and again but nothing works. Please help me. Thanks.

 

Communicator could not determine the location of your Exchange Web Service.

Your Outlook calendar information and Out of Office message may not

Be available and your calls may not be forwarded based on your working hours.

Communicator will try to retrieve this information again later. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator.

This problem occurs if “Autodiscover Service” isn’t configured properly.

Here’s how you’ll fix your “Autodiscover Service”.

  1. Start Outlook.
  2. Hold “Ctrl” and click the “Outlook” tray icon on lower right corner.
  3. Select “Test-Email autoconfiguration”.

This will definitely make OC to get the exchange web services.
