I have setup coexistent with OCS R2 server to my computer. It is creating problem to my computer.

The time when I make a Lync client to connect via our old OCS Server, the GAL can be downloaded with pictures but when I make connection through the new Lync server I get "cannot download address book and no pictures.

What is going on?

Hi Prohalladray,

That scenario will always happen because the website that delivers the address book does not have certificate authorization  of SSL ( Secure Sockets Layers) installed on it.

To solve your problem make sure that you installed an authorization certificate on your Secure Socket Layers.

You have to do the following steps:

  1. If your computer is Operating Internet Information Services, click START >RUN>type inetmgr, msc and hit OK
  2. Let your Computer name expand to local computer and  the websites expand also, click  website>properties.
  3. Hit the directory security tab.
  4. In the section of Secure Communication find out if the view certificate is modified.
*Remember you have to know if the certificate is invalid by:
  • In the website name hit Server Certificate>then in the dialog box >Click Properties.
  • Hit next>renew the present certificate or select > change present certificate.

             Hope this might help you.

             Thanks.
