Hello techyv users!

I am not the best with computers but very fond of clementine.  Just a few days ago it stopped working and now I get the following message:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.”

Thanks in advance.

Hello Dexter Wiley, I have read your query.

Either your Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries are missing or your installation of clementine has become corrupted. You can resolve this issue by following these:

·         Try reinstalling Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++2010 Redistributable Package from this link http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 and see if it resolve your issue. Before reinstalling Visual C++ Libraries, you will have to clean uninstall your previous installation. To Clean Boot you system, open System Configuration Utility by typing "MSCONFIG" in Run. Under "Services" tab, select "Hide All Microsoft Services" and "Disable All", also under "Startup" tab, disable all services.

·         You can try a clean boot and check if you can perform any installation to determine if a third party application, any service running on PC or startup item is the reason of problem.

·         You can also try running computer in Safe Mode of Windows to determine the cause of problem.

Hope it helped.
