Hi Guys,
 
I am currently using Windows 2k3 server and have installed Citrix XenApp 5.0.Few applications have been published for user access.The clients are using Windows Vista.While trying to access the application via the Web Interface they are receiving the error as shown below
 
 
"ICA file not found"
 
I suspect this is client specific but I am not too sure. Please assist.

Hallo Richard,

The following are situations that have been known to produce the error message that you are getting:

  • The Web pages could have been presented with the HTTPS protocol, and the client is not able to save encrypted pages to disk.
  • When a user clicks an application icon, the following file:Launch.ica  is downloaded from the Web server and after that it is executed by the local client.
  • In the event that the NFuse Web server is using SSL (https://...) and the browser that you are using has been  configured so that it does not save encrypted pages to disk,  Launch.ica file will not be able to be written to disk and the client has no file to open.
