I have been using a Windows 7 computer for a year and had the citrix client installed on it. I never faced any problems. Last week I installed it in my sister’s laptop which has Windows 8.1 and it is not opening at all. Does anyone know how to get Citrix client for Windows 8.1 working on Windows 8.1?

I faced this problem as well.

Follow my steps and you might get it working. First, open the start menu and remove the shortcut of citrix from there. Then, make sure that the citrix plugin runs at login.

Finally, restart your sister’s PC normally (no safe mode required). Citrix will pop up and work normally.
