If you try to access the switch using the wed, you would get this message. There are various reasons behind this error message. This error can be solved easily. Please follow the directions carefully.

1. First check the IP connectivity with the switch.

2. You have to access the CLI. There are two options for doing so. You can access by starting a Telnet session to the switch and the connection to the switch console port through the RS-232 connector.

3. You need to enter the privileged EXEC mode. For doing so type 'enable' at the switch.

    switch> enable

    switch#

4. You need to check the configuration file. It can be done by issuing the show running-config command.

    no ip http server

    ip http port <port #>

Here "port #" is a value other than 80.

Please confirm that there is no configuration like the above message.
