While working with Cinema 4D, then I was notified with a patch upgrade. I clicked on Yes but it failed to open the file while in the middle of the installation. And then it suddenly quits. And now, I can't open Cinema 4D again and even throws an error message. Please tell me what to do with it. Thank you.

Cinema 4D Version 11.530 Installation Error

This error is obviously the result of the failed patch installation. The patch failed to install maybe because it is corrupted or it is designed for a different version of Cinema 4D. But most of the time, it is always an incorrect patch version. At this point, because the installation of the program was already modified but failed to complete, you need to reinstall the application.

Uninstall Cinema 4D then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files” and click OK to start cleaning your drive of all temporary files. Once it is finished, restart your computer and then install Cinema 4D again. This should fix the problem.

Next time, when you are notified to install a patch, make sure you download it successfully and it is the correct patch for your version.
