Chrome technology limitation causes an error regarding Ranorex Chrome Extension file

Hello,

I’m quite sure that I already installed and enabled a Ranorex extension for my Google Chrome. However, till now, a Chrome technology limitation causes an error that says “The Ranorex Chrome Extension file could not be found.”

The Ranorex Chrome Extension file could not be found.
 
Please make sue that you installed Ranorex correctly and that you
have write permission in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry hive.

I shall try to uninstall and reinstall my Ranorex, but if that doesn’t work, what’s the next best solution?

You can follow these solutions to fix your Problem,

If the activation of the add-on was not complete, then make sure that you have installed Ranorex properly and check if you have started in the instrumentation wizard from ‘bin’ folder, also check if you have administrator rights. If not contact your system administrator.

You can also check if you have enabled the add on, you can do this by going to Chrome extension settings.
