Chrome shows websites as text only

I use Chrome as my internet browser. It locked up on me one time, so I had to close and reopen it, but when I did, most of the websites showed up as text only. It does not even show me pictures anymore. I tried all the settings, deleted the caches and cookies, I reset everything and nothing seemed to help. Is it a problem with my browser or something else?

There are several possible causes of this. You should go to settings > advanced and press the "reset browser settings" at the very bottom. If still not working, try turning off all extensions and testing them one by one to see which one is not compatible.

If none of that helps, I'm afraid it's time to reinstall Chrome. Be sure to backup all your bookmarks first.

If that’s the case then uninstall and reinstall the program or install the latest version. You can always uninstall and reinstall any program if they are not working properly. First, make sure your browser is logged in to your Google account so that all bookmarks and other data on your web browser are synchronized with your account.

This will allow you to easily restore your bookmarks and other data like passwords after reinstalling the browser. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Google Chrome web browser among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo Uninstaller then download the free version of CCleaner and install it. Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. When it is finished, exit CCleaner then restart the computer.

After booting, download the latest Google Chrome web browser and install it. Once installed, start Google Chrome and log in the browser to your Google account. See if everything works fine. If you want to convert CCleaner to Pro, download the codes and follow the instructions.
