OK then you can change the letter “H” to “K” but remember that you can’t do this if you have any hard drive or any partition that already named “K” other thing is that you can’t change the letter ‘H’ to A,B,C. Now I explain in some steps for the windows XP users. First go to the control panel then go to the administrator tools, you will see “computer management” now open it. Open disk management, find out your drive and right click on it and click on “change drive letter and path. That’s it you reach to the station. Good bye.

Hello Stepanjohn,

To change your drive letter for the DVD to another, you just use the disk management utility. You can access disk management using the following simple procedure:

  • On your computer click on start and then type computer management in the blank search box.
  • Look for Computer Management and then click on it to open it.
  • In the box that will show up, look for disk management and click on it.
  • Locate you DVD drive among the listed drives.
  • Right click on it and then choose Change drive letter paths.
  • From the drives provided, choose that which you want and then click OK.

You will have successfully changed your DVD drive letter paths.
