When we save a page in Microsoft FrontPage, it saves in html format by default.

But I want to save in html format by default every time if I create a page and save.

How can I change the default file type?

Sometimes we need to change file extension for work in a different place.

You can change the .htm extension file to .html easily by use a simple way.

Here following the solution for you :

  • At first you should open your .htm file in notepad, select the file and click right button on your mouse and then select open with and then select notepad from the program list.
  • Now you can see the html code in notepad window, and then select File form the above menu list.
  • Then click on save as and you write the new file name with .html extension. Example: name.html.
  • Now select save option.

Thanks
