I am getting certificate error for only one particular site which is preventing me from accessing the webpage. I am using Internet Explorer for Windows 7, and I can open all remaining sites without any error. Can u give me a probable reason and a solution to this issue?

Here is a simple solution to your problem:

  • First Right click on "Internet Explorer" icon and go to Properties. Click on the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to the "Security" portion.
  • Under security section, uncheck "Check for publisher's certificate revocation" and "Check for server certificate revocation".
  • Also uncheck "Warn about certificate address mismatch ” and “Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode".
  • Click "Apply" and then “OK”.

If the problem still exists, then you can try adding that website to "Trusted Sites" by using the “Add” option under “Sites” in the same previous “Security” section. Uncheck the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites zones in this zone" before you click on OK.

I’m sure this will help you overcome your problem.
