CD burning; ImgBurn: I/O Error comes up almost finishing the burning process

To the best of the best. I was burning CDs using IMG Burn. When it is about to finish burning 8% away from finishing I/O Error comes up.  So The CD was wasted so I tired another one, but it still happens. I didn’t try it again it might cost me another CD. I thought that the complications must be the other image burning software I have so I uninstalled them all except IMG Burn. It was a waste of time.

How do I fix this?

Hello Jay,

To resolve that issue, follow the steps below:

Just follow these simple steps:

  • Restart your computer and then open up Task Manager.
  • After that go  to Processes, and then close all unnecessary programs.
  • And then run ImgBurn – Don't close Task Manager, and then insert the disk.
  • In Task Manager Process tab, you will need to right click on ImbBurn, then Set Priority to High.
  • And then close Task Manager.
  • You can start burning after that.

Regards,

Nicke

Hi,

I don't recommend you use the IMG burning software. My recommendation is the Nero burning ROM. It's more easy to use and safe

To use in your operating system some burning ROM software has a limited time to use like trial time.

Better to have a NERO burning  software you can get it free.http://www.nero.com/ena/?vlang=au
