I have been using Ccleaner for a long time and it worked wonders for me. But for some bizarre reason the program is not working and keeps on crashing when I attempt to use it. I have tried re-installing the program but to no avail, still crashes and won't work. Can somebody help me please?
I understand that you have already tried reinstalling CCleaner but the issue still persists. In this regard, may I confirm if you had downloaded the latest version of the installer when you reinstalled it?
If you are not sure, please download the latest version here. After downloading the file, run Disk Cleanup first to remove the temporary files from your system. After running Disk Cleanup, go back to the location where you saved the installer.
Right-click ccsetup315.exe and select the Run as Administrator option.
Follow the prompts to install the software. After the installation, please run CCleaner and see if it now works properly.
In case the issue persists, please disable or uninstall any other system utility software that you have on your system to confirm if they are causing conflicts with the modules of CCleaner.
You may also consider reinstalling the software using the previous build (CCleaner 3.14.1616). You may download the installer here If the previous build works fine, update the software and let it download and install the latest build again automatically.
In the event that it crash again and you receive an error message, it would be very helpful if you can post the exact error message (or a screenshot of the message) here along with some system information such as your operating system, AN software, and the browser applications that you are using on your computer.
