Hello,
Recently I've purchased an Apple Airport Express Base Station for my home use. Â I have a HP printer and also an iMac 2.4 Ghz at my home. I want to connect my printer with the base station and want to print. Â I've already tried with all general procedures but it didn't work. I need my Airport Express Base station to work with my printer immediately. Please someone help me.

Dear Tamzid,
As you mentioned  you already have tried all the general procedures to make your Airport Express Base Station work.  Could you please try with the following steps:
Open the System Preferences, from the Dock and then right click in the printer box;Â then choose Reset printer system and click Ok. Click the (+) button to add your printer again. Now try to print. Â Before doing these steps, do check that you're connected with the Internet and your Printer is Mac supported. Â I think these will work. Please let me know whether you are able to set it up or not. I guess your Mac OS is not updated. Â Could you please check your OS whether it's recently updated or not. If not updated then first update your OS and firmware, then try printing. Hope this will work. Let me know the status. Cheers.

Dear bappy,
You are right my Mac OS was not updated. As per suggestion I update my Mac OS and firm wire and restarted my computer now. Â It's working. It's really helpful for me. Thanks a lot. So, what I need is to update my OS regularly. Â Just to know can I use other printer utilities and other special features. Take care.

Excellent, there you are. Yes, you need always to update your Mac OS. If you keep your OS updated, you can use lots of features, but for your information you won't be able to use printer utilities or other special features that requires a direct connection. Cheers.

Can’t use Airport Express base station to print from my printer?
Hello Tamzid,
As you're a Mac user and you have HP printer, please check your printer whether it is supported by Mac or not. I'm also using Airport Express in my office and using it for a long time. To set up Airport Express with the printer, first connect your printer with Airport Express port.  In  your Mac, Open Airport Base Station; then Click 'Manual Setup';  Enter the password if needed;  after that Click 'Printer' in the menu bar. Now try to print. Hope you are now able to use your Airport Express Base Station, to print from your printer. Thanks.
