Whenever I try to install acrobat reader at a certain stage an error pops up like wise "Error 1406:Could not write the value folder to key ! "
And I have tried to install it quite some times.
This happened for both my Acrobat reader 9 and 8.
What should I do ?

This is not a big issue. well the problem you are facing, had solved by me two months ago. What you need to do is to follow these steps.
Solution:
If you are installing Adobe Acrobat on the previous version, do not do that.
First completely remove Adobe Acrobat from your computer, and then install the new one.
For this purpose, follow these steps:
1. Go to Control panel.
2. Open Add/Remove programs.
3. Find Adobe Acrobat from the list and click on Uninstall.
4. After uninstalling, launch the setup of Adobe Acrobat again.
Your problem will be solved!
