My Canon printer keeps saying it’s out of ink, but it has a mouthful. I just refilled it. What seems to be the problem?

Hello dear,

Sorry to say that there is the possibility to damage of your cartridge. You may have to change this for further actions.

I like to tell the causes of this type of weird problem to you so that you will not fall into this type of problem anymore.

This cartridge although in new also can show this problem

1. You put the printer idle so long without printing any page.

2. You fill the cartridge after finishes all of its previous ink

To get rid of this, try to print at least one page in a day

Fill the ink when 10/20 % remains of previous ink

Try resetting the printer to its factory default settings. Turn it on and then press and then hold the Reset button. Just continue holding the Reset button and then press and hold Color Start button.

And wait for few minutes and release your finger from pressing the Color Start and Reset button. It will start and configure the settings. When it finished, press and hold the Tool button until you see the letter A shown in the screen. Wait for few minutes and then while holding the Tool button, press and hold the Reset again. You will see when the light blinks, it will then be Restored to factory settings.
