Hi! All,

When I tried to burn the Rescue Disk I got an error message.

I am not sure about how to burn a Rescue Disk correctly?

Here is a picture to better describe my problem.

Cannot verify that the Rescue Disk has been correctly burned. If you have burned the Rescue Disk yet, please do so, and then click Next. If you attempted to verify a TrueCrypt Rescue Disk created before you started this wizard, please note that such Rescue Disk cannot be used, because it was created for a different master key. You need to burn the newly generated Rescue Disk.

Please give me some advice.

An error message appeared as I tried to burn the Rescue Disk

"Security cannot be given that Rescue Disk has been correctly burned. Please before pressing the "NEXT" button be sure that Rescue Disk has burned. Before starting the "WIZARD' you have to be sure that True Crypt Rescue Disk is created.

You should be sure that this Rescue Disk cannot be used as it has been created for another "Master Key". So you have to burn the newly created Rescue Disk."

So I cannot be sure or tell that how I can burn a Rescue Disk correctly?

Hello,

This error message is generally displayed when you tend to deploy TrueCrypt to a lot of computers.

TrueCrypt warns with this error message that the Rescue Disk is meant for a single computer and you can’t create one Rescue Disk and try to use it on many computers.

I suggest that you keep each computer Rescue disk in a central location and burn them to disk ad required.

I hope this provides a solution to your problem.
