I have successfully mounted the Cooler Master v6GT on my board and the fan is spinning properly but the LED wont turn ON. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Dear Mr. Bolton Sander

Good Day!

Since you mentioned that the fans are spinning properly, then it means they’re OK, the only concern now is the LED Strip on top of the cooler. Please note that aside from the PWM connector, CoolerMaster V6 GT also a Molex connector intended to provide power to the LED Strip on top. You may double check if it is connected or if it's already connected, you can try reconnecting it just to ensure that we don’t have any connection issues.

Also, the cap control on top – which is actually a push-button, doesn’t only allow you to change the color of the LED Strip from red to blue to purple but it also allows you to shut it off. You may try pressing it and see if the LED Strip will work. Now then, if still the LED Strip will not work, then I believe that the cooler deserves a replacement.

Have a great day!

Hello Bolton Sander,

I strongly agree with angelo 01. Just follow the steps he gave to you that is the solution of your problem. See the illustration that he provided above. But if it doesn't work I recommend you to buy a new cooler and its Zalman which is one of the best cooler in the market.
