Cannot see Oracle 9i driver for Windows XP in Data Source Administrator

I have this problem on my recently installed Oracle 9i driver for Windows XP as it doesn’t seem to appear as a choice in the Data Source Administrator or in the Windows Control Panel. I already tried to uninstall and re-install but still nothing. Does anybody have any suggestion?

Hi the issue arises because you have installed the Administrator version of the driver. The administrator version only consists of the tools and not the drivers and hence the drivers are not visible in control panel. However no need to reinstall the current version. You can install the developer version alongside the Admin version. So no need to uninstall also..
