Hello,

I cannot get the searcu toolbar inactive from default webpage in my mozilla firefox browser. I have tried to reset the default settings but it did not work. So I am in some inconvenience and like to solve the problem.

If someone can help me please suggest me how to get it out of default start page.

Hello Christian,

I don’t have the searcu toolbar so I’m going to use another one to make an example.

If you want to disable the toolbar:

  1. Go to the Add-on manager tab (press Alt then go to Tools>Add-on or press Ctrl+Shift+A)
  2. There click Extensions and click on Disable on the right of tool-bar’s row.
  3. Then restart Firefox and the tool-bar will be gone.

If you want to reset your home page:

  1. Go to the Options window(press Alter then go to Tools>Options)
  2. There on the General tab you will find Restore to Default, click on it and restart Firefox.

Hope that fixes your problem.
