Hello there,

When I want to play any game it crashes at the startup and this big window error appears and it is saying something about delta time, no idea what it means. All my games worked fine last week until now with this error. I don’t know that it means and how to solve it. Can anyone tell me what is happening with my games ?

Thanks !

Cannot play any game because of delta time

There seems to be a problem in the processor that is maybe incorrectly configured in the BIOS. This problem normally happens if the user is trying to overclock the processor which can be done from within the BIOS. Overclocking, by the way, is the process by which the speed of the processor is extended beyond its default or normal speed.

Only experienced users do this because this is very dangerous and damaging to the processor and obviously shortens the life of the processor. If you did try to overclock your processor by changing some settings in the BIOS, restore these settings back to default to fix the error. In case you can’t remember the original settings, you can restore the BIOS default settings by selecting Load Setup Defaults or Load BIOS Defaults or whichever is available in the BIOS. See image.

Another way is to follow what is suggested in the error message which is to download a certain AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor driver. To download the file, visit AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver.
