I am running Win7 64 bit Operating System and getting the following error message on startup since I have installed a different Motherboard in my computer. The error message displays between the welcome screen and full Boot on a Win 7 64 bit OS.My system config is EVGA X58 MB, with 12 Gigabytes of Ram, 2 ATI Radeon Video cards, Core I7 960 processor. Help me. Thanks in advance.
Can’t Get SMI port and type!!
Cannot Get SMI port and type
The screenshot posted above would display after you login. It’s not about the driver problem. As I check the startup program, it could be a utility of the old MOBO that need to re-configured. Please apply autorun in order to track it down. If it is required a driver, there’s a possibility that SMI is located in the filename. You need to search for SMI in program files directory.
I hope this is help you.
