Hi All,

I recently downloaded the new installer of autodesk SketchBook and it installed without any problems. But when I try to enter my serial number and product key, I get an error message telling me that I do not have the necessary system privileges to do so. I have a Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. I verified that I have downloaded a Lion compatible version of SketchBook. Now what else could be preventing me from entering serial number and product key? Can you please help? Thanks a lot for your valuable help. Regards

One best idea is to download the Service Pack 2 to install the latest version of SBP. This is tested to be compatible with Lion.
First time when you open SketchBook, the product activation window will appear. Click on ‘Enter Serial Number’ to enter your serial number and product key. Remember at the time of pasting the serial number check that there are no spaces anywhere before or after the number. As your installation process may fail because of a small space .You can enter the number manually also. Then click ‘ok’ button.
Or, instead of going through the above process, there is another option to give your serial number.
Go to Help and then to ‘Enter Serial number’ to open your SketchBook Pro Product Activation window. Here type the serial number and product key from your product packaging or from the online purchase confirmation form. Next click ok button.
