Hi folks,

Cannot edit the theme table for the Roads theme.

Cannot edit the theme table for the Roads theme.

As I understand on the above error, I don't have the rights to change the names of the roads, that is why I checked on my login, I don't have any restriction to any files since I am using administrator rights, and no one is using the file as of that moment, please share some ideas on my issue, thanks folks.

1. Windows can not recognize to your file.

2. Edit theme code for the roads themes some restricted files may be copy on your default file.

As your related administration go to the help to recover your file. And if no one use that file there do not happen harm to you. You are safely using your program.

Thanks.

At first glance of your post, I thought your problem was the file permission issue, but you stated that your files were not restricted since you were the administrator. Why not try to check your codes and your tables to make sure you didn't miss anything? Then try to log in again and edit it. If you still receive an error, then go to ArcGIS Help.

Anyways, in ArcGIS, you edit an attribute the Attributes dialog box. It can be found in the editor toolbar. In it, you can choose any feature you want to edit.

For some ideas on how to edit in ArcGIS, go to these urls:
