Cannot browse internet with IE8

I use IE8 & Firefox for browsing internet.

I have active internet connection, when I want to browse internet via Mozilla Firefox I can do that but whenever I want to browse the same site with IE8, it shows IE8 cannot display the webpage.

What is the problem?

Hey friends,

  • This is the problem with your proxy settings. Check the proxy settings of the Mozilla Firefox.
  • Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings
  • In settings see the proxy settings.
  • In IE8,
  • Go to Tools > Internet Options> Connections > Lan Settings > Check on the Auto Proxy settings
  • This may solve your problem. If this also doesn’t solve your problem then see the IP address that access the internet. Manually set the proxy settings in IE8. This will allow the IE8 to access the internet that you are able to access on Mozilla Firefox.

Windows Compatibility IE8 is not compatible with windows XP.

Recommended windows for IE8 is windows 7 or Vista.
