Hello,

I am using Windows 7 32 bit and trying to scan a document containing in Notepad but error message during the process of scanning. How can I fix this issue? Have any idea to resolve the matter? I would be thankful to you. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hijack This

For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, Hijack this may NOT be able to fix this.

If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type:

Notepad C:WindowsSystem32driversetchosts

And press enter, find the lone(s) HijackThis reports and delete them. Save the file as ‘hosts.’ (with quotes), and reboot.

For Vista: simply, exit HijackThis, right click on the HijackThis icon, choose ‘Run as administrator’.
