Hi. I'm trying to compress and zip a 6 GB avi file using winzip 8.1 sr 2 with zip64 extension. Im having an error of "The file is too big to be stored on a Zip file and will be skipped". I'm on xp 64-bit and my question is, can winzip 9.1 sr 2 compress a 6 GB file?
Hi there, In winzip 8.1 sr2, the maximum compress capacity is 4 GB and the limitation about number of files and folder is 65,535. But you don't have to worry about your winzip 9.1 because winzip 9.1 comes within a command line support add-on 1.1.
