I want to record some channels and wanted to know if we have any options to record the channels from the TataSky channels to my Laptop hard drive. What are the softwares and the hardwares needed.

To connect Tata Sky disk to the laptop you must have a TV tuner card and a normal RF cable. TV tuner card has two cables as USB and video cable. The USB cable connects to the tuner card with laptop and video cable connects the tuner card with the setup box.
The installation of the TV tuner card software is as mentioned below:
1) Execute the TV tuner card installation
2) After the installation, TV Home Media.exc screen is displayed on the desktop
3) Run the TV Home Media.exc file. Press the Video tab and apply the setting related to the brightness, aspect ratio
4) Select Integrated Microphone and Speaker in the Audio input settings
5) You can set the path of the captured image and format type of the image
