Check if your Mobidata GSM modem’s driver is properly installed.

If you are receiving an error when trying to connect to the internet using this modem, it means that it can not establish a connection between your computer and the server or the ISP.

Uninstall your modem’s software from your computer. The modem’s driver is automatically uninstalled together with the application. Restart your computer afterwards.

Check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. After the disk check, plug your GSM modem to your computer then proceed on installing its software. Reinstalling your modem’s software will help fix any corrupted files in the previous installation and will restore its settings back to default.

Your modem should work now. Be sure to put the right APN or the Access Point Number and the access number. The APN or the Access Point Number is the code used to access and connect to the network. Examples of APN are internet, SMARTBRO, http.globe.com.ph, minternet, and others.

You can get this from your ISP or network provider. The access number is used to activate, establish, or start the connection. Examples of access numbers are *99***1#, *99#, *98#, and others. These are already set in your GSM modem’s application dashboard.
