Hello experts,

When I try to install a Native Instruments download product on a Mac OS X v10.8.x I encountered an error message attached below. How can I prevent this error message? I downloaded this product again so that I may fix this issue but nothing happened. Can I get a suggestion to resolve the problem?

Thanks to you.

Error: “BrotherTWAIN.pkg” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers. “BrotherTWAIN.pkg” is on the disk image “brxtwain_340-228b.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image yesterday at 15:56 from Welcome.solutions.brother.com.

Hello,

Here is the main cause that your attempting is being failed. Your system preference is configured to allow those apps only which has been developed by identified developers and from Mac only. You can change the preference in order to solve this issue.

1.       From the Apple icon, choose “System Preferences”.

2.       Then, from the “Privacy & Security”, select the “General” option that is on the top-left.

3.       Click on the lock button on the bottom.

4.       From the options, select “Anywhere”.

Now, you will be able to install the application on your Mac.
