Hi,

The answer to your question is 'yes' it will effect your Gmail size i. e 10 GB. If you attach any video files and send mail it will just increase the usage percentage of your mail box. Rather you can one thing which will allow you to store video files online and share the links for other to download those into their system. There are various site where you can store data for free online upto certain GB. You can use those site to upload your video files and send it to them. You can do one more thing store the links in any file hosting sites and share the links to other people whom ever you want to.

Dear Lark,

The answer is of course you can!

Even if you need to send a 100 something audio files it wont be that big of a chunk out of your enormous 10GB. Go right ahead and send your audio files. Just make sure your audio files are within the attachment size allowed. (25 MB)

That size is more than sufficient for most audio files.

If you would like an alternative for sharing files then I recommend using dropbox. It is a very simple and easy file sharing software to use. Download it here https://www.dropbox.com/

Both users on both ends will need to install dropbox and make an account on it. After that a dropbox folder will appear in both systems and whenever something is placed in that folder, both of you will be able to see those files and download them for yourself. Dropbox is widely used today and is one of the most well-known free file sharing softwares.
