I'm trying to upload, if it is possible, a file from infopath which is encoded in base 64 format to a web service which will then extract the file to a sharepoint library.  Can Infopath upload file to a web service?

Hi. Tikwa Zuph,

I want to say that you can try to the following process for your problem:-

Please try those steps outlined in this link.

InfoPath of upload file to a web service

You can see starting steps in this link.

Wish Microsoft will have done something about this in the new version of InfoPath.

I hope that you can fix it by trying this procedure.

Thanks & Regards

Hello, Tikwa Zuph!

You know that with InfoPath attachments, you can never submit uploaded files to anywhere technically. Basically, they're a portion of an InfoPath form.

If you need to submit to the InfoPath form somewhere, you can extract attachments from an InfoPath form. Then, you can store them, for example, in a SharePoint document library or as attachments to SharePoint list items.

Hopefully, this will suffice. To learn more, you can search in the internet. Best of luck!
