I use Office 2000 version on my Window XP. But now I have done some updating to my system so I thought to give a try to the Window 7 as i have learned that it is more secure. But I want to remain on the same old version of the Office 2000, so can i run the office 2000 on Window7.
No, it is not possible to install the Office 2000 on window 7, as office 2000 is very old version of the office series, so you need to install the latest version. As the Window 7 is not compatible to support the office 2000. If it is installed by using the different software it will create the problem regularly. Mean while it is true that window 7 is more secure then the window xp on the ways. If you want the office 2000 beacuse the reason you have file in that version then it is not the problem the newer version will support that in the same way that it opened by the office 20007 just new features are added on the newer version.
