I am using Windows 7 operating system. A few days ago, my Thunderbird was crashing without any reason.
On that I have 2 inboxes. One is for office purpose and the other one is for personal use. Again, I restarted Thunderbird, but unfortunately my official inbox was empty except few messages. Other personal inbox was totally disappeared.
Are there any way to get my messages again? Anybody faced this type of issue before? Please give me a solution to rectify this Problem. Thanks in advance for any help.

An Inbox size set on 2.1GB means that the message filter restricts all incoming messages in this volume; hence, exceeding this volume leads to the crash of Thunderbird.

The Inbox is not damaged and the mail can be  recovered by restarting Thunderbird and deactivating message filter.Â

Running "Run Filter On" manually on the mail folder helps.

Some uses Inbox  with 3GB with no problem, though the filter on such Inbox seems not working.

Other causes of crash is when there is "Windows Mozilla Thunderbird Error".
It means there are critical PC errors due to conflict in the registry. For prevention of further damage in hardware and applications, this error should be fixed right away! Ignoring this error leads to system crashes, Â and hardware failure.

You can also fix Mozilla Thunderbird, by running SmartPCFixer, which can be installed for Free from
here. Run "Scan" for errors and 'Repair Problems' to do repairs!
