What is the maximum number of rows and columns in a standard worksheet in Excel? Can I increase the number of rows or columns more than the standard available number? Can I create a database in Excel? If not, what is the option for me to use a database within Excel? What can I do to make this possible?ca

There are more than 1 lac rows in excel sheet and more than 16,000 columns in it to help the user make it easy and convenient to create vast database.

The exact number of Rows is 1048576 & columns is 16,384 in an Excel Sheet.  If you want to increase or in need to add more rows or columns you have to switch from standard to MS Excel 2010 version.
