Computer store their information on several types of memory. It includes RAM, hard disk drive and cache memory. Recovering data on hard disk drive may be possible with the use of the correct recovery software. Even if we have deleted files on the hard disk it may be retrieved if we do not format the disk and try to replace the file on it with the same file size.

Cache and RAM memory are both volatile memory as when you turn off the computer, the data are deleted. Recovering data from our cache memory is actually possible. You can try to access the cache memory by doing a file restore.

A mobile handset is no different to an ordinary desktop computer they only differ in size. Let’s explain first what cache is. Cache is pronounced as “cash” just like in money. It is a special high speed mechanism that is either a reserved area of the main memory or a separate high speed storage device. See image.

In a personal computer, two types of caching are usually implemented and they are: disk caching and memory caching. If you will be applying it on a mobile phone, it is more likely that it’ll be using memory caching instead of disk caching because earlier versions of mobile phones don’t come with external storage devices.

And even if modern handsets are already available now, the cache sizes they are using are still small. That’s why when creating a site designed for mobile phones it needs to be created in a more compact way. This means the images you put in the page should be limited to a certain dimension only, the CSS file should be adapted for mobile use, and so on.
