I am a user of Winamp version 5.5 and VLC media player 2.0.1. At times I feel quite uncomfortable using a mouse to play, pause, rewind, change of volume etc.
Can anyone tell me the keys for shortcut Winamp VLC?

There are lots of shortcut keys that can be used in Winamp and VLC media player.
The Basic commands for VLC media player are as below:
Volume: Ctrl + Up arrow key to increase the volume and Ctrl + down arrow key to reduce the volume
Play and Pause: Use Space-bar to Pause and Play
Rewind and Forward:
        Use Alt+ Right arrow key to slow forward and Ctrl+ Right arrow key to Fast Forward
        Use Alt+ Left arrow key to slow rewind and Ctrl + Left arrow key to Fast Rewind
